Katherine Accounting Services Pty Ltd is a small local business staffed by experienced, qualified professionals.
The Director, and Manager of the business Maxine Bright has been working in the industry for over two decades. Maxine Bright started the business in 2005 and has grown the business from a sole trader to where it is today. Maxine has been in the Northern Territory since 1974 and has lived in Darwin and Alice Springs before settling in Katherine in 2003. Maxine graduated from CDU in 1994 with an Associate Diploma in Accounting and has been a member of the Institute of Public Accountants since 1994.
The business has grown over the years, has expanded its premises and undergone various staffing changes to lead it to its present structure. In addition to the Director, the business offers a qualified accountant, an experienced bookkeeper, and two administration assistants.
These knowledgeable and extremely capable women are the foundation of KAS and offer their clients an exceptional level of professional service in a friendly, down to earth approachable manner that is accessible to all walks of life.

Long-time Katherine resident, Maxine has worked both in the NT and the tax industry for 20+ years. Since becoming the sole director of Katherine Accounting Services in 2012, she has grown business into a four person team. She is a prominent member of the community and is committed to providing high quality, affordable service to clients in Katherine and beyond.
Bandana Khadka
Accountant
Bandana moved to Australia in 2018 to study accounting at Charles Darwin University where she graduated in 2020 with her bachelor of accounting. Bandana started working in Katherine Accounting Services in December of 2020.
Luxi Wang
Trainee Accountant
Luxi completed her Accounting degree from Charles Darwin University in 2017 and joined Katherine Accounting Services in November 2021. She is looking forward to be certified Accountant in Australia.
Nisha Pun
Admin Assistant & Trainee Bookkeper
Nisha, Accounting graduate from University of Wollongong NSW 2019 has recently joined Katherine Accounting Services in April 2022. She is keen to learn and grow her career in the accounting field.
